Modify Email Notifications in TalentLMS
1. Login to the training portal at training.bluestakes.org.
2. Click "Events Engine".

3. In Events Engine is a list of all active and inactive Notifications. Click on one to edit, or click "Add notification" to create a new notification.
4. To see previously sent notifications, click the "History" tab.
5. To see notifications that have not been sent yet but are pending, click "Pending notifications".
6. While editing or creating a notification, you can customize when and to whom it triggers and sends emails using the "event" and "recipient" fields.
7. "Smart Tags" are a piece of notifications, which are located underneath the text box. Smart tags are specific to users and will insert the appropriate user's information in place of the text. Click on a smart tag to add it into the notification. In the screenshot below, {related_user_first_name} is an example of a smart tag that addresses the user by their first name inplace of the tag.

8. Once finished editing, you can click "Preview" to view what the notification will look like and "Update notification" once you are satisfied.
